Shiatsu:
A safe and effective therapy
The congress was held on the 15th, 16th and 17th of June 2012, with the participation of international speakers. It was a great success with participants coming from as far away as Colombia.
The motto of the congress was: Shiatsu: A safe and effective therapy
Three days of practical workshops, demos, exchanges and talks
on shiatsu, sotai, oriental diagnosis and emotional release, with some of the longest-practising masters. A Shodo workshop (Japanese calligraphy), where the participants learned how to
draw Japanese ideograms (Kanji).
The artwork of Kazuko Hagiwara was much admired and she sold about 70% of her shodo pictures.
All participants commented how well organised this congress
was, and how they have learned new and interesting
techniques.
We are already planning the next congress for 2014 in the UK.
There will be conferences and speakers from the UK, The Netherlands, Italy and Spain.
